Love Poems

I love you poems are made to express one’s feeling of love to another. These poems may be full in words but what is more important is the thought that it contains.

Poems may possess different feelings. There are some which may invoke love while others may describe suffering. I love you poems let the author’s significant other to figure out the author’s deep-seated emotions. It may also describe the partner’s beauty physically and emotionally.

Here are some poems from regular people which highly states what they feel. It uses poems as a way of channelling their emotions and expressing their feelings.

We might be miles apart
But our hearts oversee the distance.
It even made out hearts grow closer
It makes my heart go insisting.
As I listen to you, as if my ears hear the song of your heart.
You don’t know how much happiness it brings to my heart.
Hearing a word from you just brings me never ending joy.
Don’t make my heart blue
By knowing you love me and that is true.
Awaiting the day to see you again is what I dreamt of everyday,
Knowing we started long distance,
Don’t settle for long,
I will be with you soon my love.

No One Else Will Do by James Ysunza

There's no one in this world
Besides you, for me.
It may have taken me a moment,
But now I finally see.
That loading you would take my world
And tear it all apart.
But stopping it there would be the end,
There wouldn't be another start.
I hope right now, along with me,
You'll say these three words, too.
You are the GREATEST person I've ever met.
And BABY, I Love You.

Ysunza was able to tell his/her partner how much his love is. This poem greatly provides the idea that there would be no one else in the world that can replace his significant other. With this in mind, he attests that losing the other person would be like losing his life. Thus, at the end of the poem he let his guard down and told the other person how much he loves her.  This I love you poem have created a strong impact at the end because of the revelation Ysunza gave.

I'm Far Too Shy to Tell You that I Love You by Dimitri Shostakovich

I'm far too shy to tell you that I love you.
You're a star far from my plain earth.
I gaze and see no woman who's above you:
To me you are the cynosure of worth.
Yet with all your beauty you're a person
Like me in need of sympathy and love.
Your thoughts of me would not, I dare hope, worsen
If I in some way tried your heart to move.
There's pleasure, surely, drawn from the reflection
That someone, somewhere, worships your sweet face,
Thinks you are the summit of perfection,
Wants nothing more of life than your embrace.
The danger is you'll think it couldn't be;
So I suggest you see yourself through me.

Shostakovich, on the other hand, admits his love with the use of the poem. Since he is currently having a hard time expressing his feelings verbally, he decided to use poems as his mode of communication. With poems, one can freely express his thoughts without thinking anything. It assures one of being heard. The power of words comes its way through the heart of the reader. This poem created an emotion-filled feeling. Thus, the poem did not hinder the author to express all his sentiments about the other person. I allowed him to describe how his heart was captured by just the simple thought of the girl.
